Plenković also assessed today that the positions of Slovenia and Hungary towards Croatia's membership in the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) are contrary to the views of the European Union. He estimated that the moves of Ljubljana and Budapest were wrong and that they were not good-natured.
Plenković answered today's autumn session of the Croatian Parliament to the questions of the deputies, including the decisions of Slovenia and Hungary not to support Croatia's accession to the OECD on bilateral grounds.
Member of the largest Croatian opposition party SDP and former deputy foreign minister Joško Klisović asked Plenković to assess the fact that there is a common position of the EU Member States in 2007 that, as OECD members, they will be obliged to support the entry of members of the Union who are working for it.
"The position of Slovenia and Hungary is contrary to the common position of the EU, and I experience it as incorrect and certainly not benevolent," the Croatian prime minister said.
